It is hard to put into words what makes a crochet toys superiorly cute, the small subtle details that give it personality, the perfect eye-nose-mouth ratio, the adorably long/short limbs, its lovable accessories. Cuteness is elusive, it is either there or not. That said, there can be no doubt that Irina Lemeshinsky, who “suddenly started crocheting in 2007”, must be doing something right. I certainly wish my sudden endeavors would yield such magnificent results.
